if you don't like it it will come off.. It peels pretty good. But you don't have to worry about it coming off on it's own my grill has held up really good with this stuff. and the bed is still hanging in there even after the torture test.

I threw a hammer from back to front of the bed like 6 times rubbed my feet back and forth on it(not with a ton of pressure but a good amount) Power washed it this afternoon. and it has help up perfect it did scratch but did not peel and you cannot see paint just scars from where I was throwing the hammer. almost like the black faded where the hammer hit.
