Jeremy's new box thread
 

Got started on building my new boxes last night, one for me and one for Jeremy. Here is the final shape of the box. I am making these a little bigger than my last one and going all the way to the driver side cover to add a little more volume.

I wish I had the money to get started on a sound system and have you do one for me too. Very nice though.

I probably won't be doing much tonight. I have had major computer issues at work and am backed up beyond belief, so it's going to be a long evening!

Update pics. Ready for glass Monday after work... I am about 90% sure the flush mount will work, but I won't know for sure until I get the glass done and put the top back on. Worst case, I have to cut a new top and flush mount it...

Yeah I got a nice bitch slap last night when the Ol' lady found all the stuff I bought for the truck hiding in the basement.. :killer: so my spending is on a halt right now..

I make good money doing what I am doing but I go a little spending crazy sometimes.. but I told her my last ram was all about outside looks...and this one is going to be audio and then I'll chill for awhile..well except I need me some retro'd lights...and maybe a Morgan box :) Morgan you would prolly have to have my truck to build a box huh? for the glassing part of it?

He could use mine for a template if he needed. I have a fox box but it can come out in a few minute and a couple of bolts

I could use my truck for the template and it should fit. They are the same shape, the 4th gens just have a little more padding so the box would have a tiny bit of room between the glass and the carpet.

Sweet dude.. Cuz the box that I got.....It's not going to work.. Just don't know when I could be down there to get it. How long does it usally take to build one?

I can get one done in about a day or so if I work on a weekend, which I rarely have time to do. Realistically, it takes about a week to get one done. Shipping to you in NY would probably be about $40.

I would'nt need seat spacers with your box right? Just throw it in a go.. I'm going to be headed that way the end of next month...and if we don't do another g2g I have to drive through tulsa to get to Moore, I could stop it instead of you shipping.

Finally got time to work on the boxes today. Put down 2 layers of glass on each and got them out of the truck. Need to put a final layer down tomorrow, put the tops on, carpet them and they're done! Sorry, forgot go take pics this morning.
