Sweet. I have a nikkon d40. It isn't pro grade but does well if I only knew how to use it. I got it to replace the point and shoot digital because of the amount of moments I lost out on waiting fornthe pic to take and reset...

i bought a pns for the wife for mothers day. cracked me up looking at the specs, I'm like......UGH.

1.2 fps? Come on, my SLR does 10. LOL - guess you REALLY get what you pay for, and I can't believe how CHEAP pns cameras are. Under 200 bucks and I got a really nice Sony.

Yeah, my wife's pns does very well and was cheap as well but sometimes I get the hankering for a good camera.

I'll be honest, I was REALLY surprised the other day. I hopped on CL and found some pretty decent deals. Hell, I got my new one on CL for $200 off the cost of new (and it only had 135 pics on it).

SLRs keep their value - so you really have to expect to pay about 4-500 for one with a single lens. Finding them with more lenses........SCORE!

best time to take photos is when the sun is coming up and when its about to set, never shoot when the sun is at its highest point so that would be from 11am-5pm any time before or after that is the best time to take photos

It was opposite with my pos kg dare camera. Hopefully my Droid will do otherwise lol

Driod X is a badass phone, it takes awesome photos and does full HD video for a phone, i was gonna get it but didnt really need it since i have two badass cameras lol

Yeah the camera is amazing!

Jason, just let us know when we need to take pics and we can work around it. Hell, if we get together around 4, eat and spend a couple hours there, that's only 6. Find a good place downtown and we should still have a good hour or more of decent light.
