I know me too.. It's weird being up here in NY all I ever wear is OU stuff people look at me like i'm from another planet..But it is cool to talk with people that I have something in common with..Well about trucks too

I've worn my OU gear everywhere and I'm usually amazed how many people want to come up and talk about OU football...it's awesome!

Thanks Colton.. I did it a few weeks ago. I'm working on getting a bumper that I can get painted to match so it's temp right now.

No one up here will paint it.. They always say " Painting chrome is too risky" ?? I have went to 7 shops and they have all told me the same thing.

they don't want to do it..........punks.

yeah that's what I'm thinking JJ.. 1 of the guys told me flat out that their was to much prep work to paint a steel bumper?? and the other one told me that by the time he did prep and paint I could buy a paintable bumper + paint and it would be a lot less than what he would charge me.

I'm still looking tho.

If that's the case, at least you can sell your chrome bumpers after the fact. I made enough selling my '04's chrome bumper to pay for my roll pan, hidden hitch, and paint.

Kyle, I need a different pic bud. Can you take one at more of a level angle (as in not seeing much of the hood and roof surface) and without the lights on? I can turn them on with a little PS trick after I cut the truck out.

yeah I would put this bumper up for sale to cover for the new one.


I don't think I have one without the headlights on but I will look and I will post a few more to see if you can work with them.

If this one won't work cuz of the lights I'll snap a few more tomorrow
